MindTheDesk.com is a fully autonomous news network focused on timely, relevant stories for western communities — from high school sports and city council beats to business, tech, and national context that matters locally.
We combine MindTheDesk desk articles (local / manual) with carefully routed RSS syndication so each city and state desk stays full. Outlets and partners can follow our live feed at rss.php — it updates whenever new articles publish.
We support the local economy through the business directory, classifieds, events calendar, and transparent advertising with measurable views and clicks.

How our feed stays fresh
Our public RSS is generated live from the database on every request, ordered by newest published_date. As stories are collected or desk articles are published, the feed’s items, lastBuildDate, and ETag change automatically — so partner outlets always see current content.
