Dombivli hospital row: Shiv Sena corporator Mhatre surrenders after HC cancels bail

Shiv Sena corporator Ramesh Mhatre surrendered to police after his bail was cancelled by the High Court. He will now be produced before a Kalyan court and likely sent to judicial custody. Police also arrested Sadhana Karande, the fifth accused in the hospital assault case. Karande is the mother of the pregnant woman whose treatment delay sparked the incident.
