Daughter-in-law accuses former MP Vinayak Raut, family of harassment

Vinayak Raut and six others face charges following a complaint by his daughter-in-law. Girija Raut alleged physical and mental harassment after her marriage in December 2017. She claimed occult rituals and unidentified pills were administered to help her conceive. Girija stated prolonged mental harassment prevented her from speaking out earlier. Police have arrested one accused, Firoz Baba, and are investigating further.
