New surgeon general’s advisory raises alarm about screen time risks for kids and teens

By Jacqueline Howard, CNN (CNN) — Too much screen use among kids and teens – including endless social media scrolling, nonstop texting and hours of video games – can be harmful, and it has become a public health concern in the United States, according to a surgeon general’s advisory released Wednesday. Officials at the US
