Wasatch High School student professional development program celebrates 10 years 

Wasatch High School class of 2022 graduate Derek Colon is a year away from completing his master’s degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Utah. His sights are set on a career designing jets or Formula 1 cars. Just four years ago, he was a twelfth grader with no experience or qualifications other than a passion for physics. That all changed thanks to his participation in the high school’s Center for Advanced Professional Studies program.
