Report: China Is Mapping the Ocean Floor to Bolster Submarine Warfare Capabilities

A Reuters report pulled together data from ship-tracking services, naval warfare experts, and oceanographers to reveal that China is using dozens of non-military research vessels to create a detailed map of the sea floor that could greatly amplify the submarine warfare capabilities of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA).
