Bill requiring dropboxes be staffed and voters to show ID abruptly halted at Utah legislature

Utah's potentially big election reforms stalled on Utah's Capitol Hill on Tuesday after a Senate committee abruptly ended the debate before it even got started and voted not to take any action on a House priority bill that would have added voter ID and dropbox staffing requirements when returning a ballot to a dropbox.
