Department of Justice sues Utah to force it to hand over sensitive voter information

The U.S. Department of Justice on Thursday announced it had filed federal lawsuits against Utah and four other states — Oklahoma, Kentucky, West Virginia, and New Jersey — “for failure to produce their full voter registration lists upon request.”
