Extreme heat warning and heat advisories posted for this weekend

Strong high pressure to the south, tapping into hot air, will take our daytime high temperatures well into the mid 90’s and low 100’s. We’re starting to see this warmup for Friday. The National Weather Service has posted several heat alerts for this weekend For Thursday evening, there is a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms.
