Scammers targeting Idaho permit applicants with fake invoices, AG warns

Idaho's Attorney General is warning consumers about a scam targeting people applying for permits and development projects in the Treasure Valley.

According to the Attorney General's Office, scammers are obtaining public information submitted to local planning and development departments and using it to send fraudulent emails and invoices demanding payment.
