Utah Weather: Hot temperatures to end the week with high fire danger into weekend

The bottom line? Winds will begin to shift to a southwesterly flow as we head into the end of the week with fire alerts in effect for western Utah. Temperatures will also warm into the mid and upper 90's across the Wasatch Front with the threat of dry thunderstorms on Saturday.
