B-52 bomber crashes shortly after takeoff at California’s Edwards Air Force Base

CNN By Taylor Romine, Davis Winkie, CNN (CNN) — A B-52 bomber crashed shortly after taking off at a remote base northeast of Los Angeles Monday morning, leaving a towering black plume in its wake, Edwards Air Force Base said. Emergency crews responded immediately to the crash involving the B-52 Stratofortress, the base said. It
