Europe and Canada are 'strong, even stronger together', Carney tells European Parliament

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney addressed the European Parliament on Thursday, welcoming the ambition for Canada to become an EU associate member. "Canada and Europe are stronger, even stronger together," he said, a day after US President Donald Trump threatened new tariffs and to cut trade ties with the EU if Canada's bid succeeds.
