At least 82 killed in gold mine collapse in remote area of Sudan, paramilitary RSF say

A gold mine collapse on Wednesday killed at least 82 people in a remote area in Sudan, a source in the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces reported. The destruction occurred at the al-Zara gold mine, located in West Kordofan province – an area under the control of the RSF, who have been at war with the country’s military for over three years.
