Africa: Growing Budgets Show Africa Keen to Defend Its Place in the Space Race

[RFI] African states invest around $500 million in space programmes annually, a figure expected to reach around $40 billion by 2030. With a number of initiatives already in place, the continent is seeking a seat at the table when it comes to international decisions on space exploration and equal access to the development of technology.
