A consumer commission ordered Tata Select Motors to take back a Tata Harrier EV. The vehicle repeatedly developed smart-key and central-locking problems despite repairs. The commission directed a refund after deducting ten percent depreciation from the vehicle's price. It also awarded fifty thousand rupees compensation and fifteen thousand rupees costs to the buyer. The order was passed on September 7, 2026, for issues arising in 2025.
