Outgoing Midway Mayor Celeste Johnson is proud of her two terms

Johnson’s second term is up at the end of the year, and she did not seek reelection. She said simply that it was time to pass the torch. When asked about the legacy she hoped to leave behind, Johnson pointed to the reason she ran for office in the first place: open space conservation.
