VA homeless housing in West L.A. estimated to cost a record $1.25 million per unit

Twenty-four housing units costing $1.25 million each are included in the rehab of a historic building on the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs West Los Angeles disappointing veteran advocates who hoped the space would be used as a gathering place for veterans on and off the campus.
