Winnipeg woman saves drowning child and father, says 'I don't feel like a hero'
A Winnipeg mother is being hailed as a hero after saving two lives. Jayclyn Morrissette bravely entered the Red River to rescue a father and daughter. She performed life-saving measures on the unconscious child after pulling her from the water. The child was hospitalized in critical condition but is expected to recover fully. Morrissette, however, downplays her actions, stating she was just acting as a mom.
