The State Department quietly waived mandatory sanctions on Iran's radical state broadcaster at two pivotal junctures this year, enabling the broadcaster to air the forced confessions of anti-regime protesters in January and, just this month, encourage and support assassination plots against President Donald Trump, his cabinet members, and his 20-year-old son Barron, according to nonpublic notifications transmitted to Congress and obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
