8 dead, several injured in blast at cracker manufacturing unit in UP

A massive explosion ripped through a firecracker unit on Monday. At least eleven people died and five others sustained injuries in the blast. The incident occurred in the Pipri police station area near Manori power house. Rescue operations were launched by police and fire brigade personnel. The blast also damaged several nearby houses and shattered windows.
