Icelanders vote in tight referendum on restarting EU membership talks

Iceland will vote Saturday in a tight referendum on whether to reopen membership negotiations with the European Union. Reykjavik applied for EU membership in 2009, following a financial crisis that devastated its economy, but a eurosceptic government suspended the process in 2013.
