Guinea searches for survivors after landfill landslides kill 30

In Guinea, a landslide at a garbage dump outside the capital Conakry has claimed the lives of at least 30 people. The government of the West African country says it has mobilised significant resources to try and find survivors that may still be trapped under massive piles of waste. Less than a week ago, that same government had announced plans to close the Dar-es-Salam landfill due to dangerous conditions there.
