Joint R&D, military engagement & Indo-Pacific security: India, UK deepen defence partnership

India and the United Kingdom advanced their defence partnership during a key consultative meeting. Both nations agreed to expand military-to-military engagement and joint exercises across their armed forces. Maritime security in the Indo-Pacific region was a significant topic of discussion between the two countries. The Defence Industrial Roadmap will drive co-development and co-production of advanced defence platforms. This collaboration aims to enhance technological autonomy and strategic depth for India.
