'Minor portion' of Ganga Expressway sinks amid heavy rain

A section of the Ganga Expressway near Bijnor sank due to heavy rainfall. The road developed a depression and pothole-like damage on August 14. Authorities dispatched a maintenance team which promptly began repair work. The affected road surface was restored soon after the damage was detected. Traffic on the expressway is currently running normally after the swift repairs.
