First-ever fire evacuations rattle Henefer residents as Rocky Canyon blaze hits 15,000 acres

Henefer Mayor Kay Richins said evacuations, which included the homes west of 300 West in Henefer and along West Henefer Road (also mistakenly sent across all of Summit County and other parts of Northern Utah) may seem early to some, but it’s best to err on the side of caution.
