Prime Minister Narendra Modi met India’s Commonwealth Games 2026 medallists in New Delhi and congratulated them after the country finished fourth in Glasgow. Sharing a video, he wrote, "Always #Cheer4Bharat." Modi told athletes, "Jo khelega, woh khilega" and led them in chanting "Bharat Mata ki Jai." India won 39 medals, with Ahmedabad set to host the 2030 Games.
