DHS plan hints at higher H1B, L1 visa fees for large companies

The US government plans to expand an additional fee for certain visa petitions. This fee currently applies to initial H-1B and L-1 visa grants. The proposed change will extend this charge to petitions for extensions of stay. Companies with over fifty employees and a majority on these visas will be affected.
