Young moose captured in backyard near Idaho Falls Zoo

🫎 One of the moose spotted wandering around Idaho Falls has been safely captured.

Idaho Fish and Game and Bonneville County Animal Control tranquilized the young male moose after finding him in a resident’s backyard near the Idaho Falls Zoo.

Officials plan to release the moose back into the wild but did not disclose where he will be released.

The capture comes after several recent moose sightings around Idaho Falls.
