Thalapathy Vijay's Jana Nayagan saw collections drop in its second week. The film earned an estimated 3.55 crore net on its ninth day. Overseas markets contributed 2 crore gross on the same day. Meanwhile, protests in Karnataka led to cancelled screenings at one theatre. The Tamil version continues to be the film's primary revenue generator.
