Hindu outfit installs Shivling near mosque in West Bengal

A 3.5-foot stone Shivling brought from Tarakeswar was taken to a temple near the ASI-protected Adina Masjid in Malda, drawing thousands of devotees, controversy and heavy police deployment. The Hindu Suraksha Samiti said it planned to install the Shivling at the temple, while members of the Adinath Temple Committee claimed Adina Masjid was once a temple.
