Tooele County butcher shop reprimanded after owner ‘inhumanely’ amputated steer’s hoof

The federally ordered two-day suspension came after a USDA inspector saw Tooele Valley Meat's owner cut the hoof off a conscious, injured steer that got ensnared in a gate as it tried to escape slaughter.
