A consumer commission ordered a developer to refund nearly twenty lakh rupees. This decision followed a housing project delay and the absence of a signed agreement. The Indian Air Force officer had booked two plots and paid the full amount. He approached the commission after the developer refused a refund or alternative project. The commission ruled that without a binding contract, a refund was the appropriate resolution.
