Delhi cab driver dies after iron rod from overloaded e-rickshaw tears through windshield

A cab driver was killed and a woman passenger seriously injured after an iron rod protruding from an e-rickshaw pierced the cab’s windshield and struck the driver during a collision on the Dwarka Expressway in Gurugram on Friday. Police suspect overspeeding and are examining CCTV footage to determine the sequence of events. The e-rickshaw driver has been detained and an investigation is underway.
