Liberia: Peaceful March or Chaos Tomorrow?

[Liberian Observer] The Liberia National Police (LNP) has assured citizens that it will protect the constitutional right to peaceful assembly ahead of the planned Solidarity and Trust for a New Day, known as STAND demonstration scheduled for Friday, July 17, 2026, while warning that individuals who attempt to use the protest as a cover for violence, destruction of property, or other criminal activities will face prosecution.
