Editorial: Judge’s diatribe merits a resignation, gets a cone of silence instead

Marion County Circuit Judge Channing Bennett should resign from the bench after his offensive conduct and questionable judgment show that he cannot be trusted to do the job, the editorial board writes. But judicial leaders should also answer for why they’ve adopted a cone of silence around his actions.
