New Pak Shek Kok railway station fast-tracked ‘to support I&T development’

Hong Kong authorities are accelerating the construction of the long-awaited Pak Shek Kok railway station to improve connectivity in the city’s emerging hi-tech hub, a think tank has said, as district councillors called for financial transparency on the project.
Their comments on Friday came a day after the Development Bureau revealed the first details of the plan to add the station to the East Rail line.
