Facebook and Instagram must stop ‘addictive’ features like infinite scroll, EU tells Meta

Meta, the parent company of the popular social media platforms Facebook and Instagram, must change the design features that make them addictive to users, the European Union said Friday. It also threatened to slap the US tech giant with steep fines if it does not abide by the new directive.
