From a treadle machine at age 8 to best of show at 88: Janet Paniogue never stopped sewing

POCATELLO — It all started when Janet "Jan" Paniogue moved from South Bend, Indiana, to a farm in Buhl. Her father was a sharecrop farmer, and in the winter he did upholstery work with a heavy-duty sewing machine.
