Authorities: Local man dies on Snake River bank after lying injured for hours following fall down rocky embankment

IDAHO FALLS — A 70-year-old Bingham County man was found dead early Saturday evening on the bank of the Snake River south of Idaho Falls after apparently falling down a rocky embankment alongside the waterway, authorities said.
