Utah cracks down on Cottonwood Canyons traffic: What you need to know about the new traction law

Traction checks will be back in the Cottonwood Canyons this winter, and the Utah Department of Transportation is taking advantage of new powers given to it by the state legislature. The agency can enact the traction law up to 24 hours in advance and scofflaw drivers can be given tickets.
