Island Park traffic signal delayed after construction snag

The installation of a new traffic signal in the Island Park is being delayed until later this year.

Originally planned to be complete by the end of May, the foundations for the signal structure were poured last fall using a manufacturer template designed to ensure the poles and bolts fit correctly. Earlier this week, crews discovered the fit was incorrect, forcing work to stop.
