Wasatch County Sheriff Jared Rigby allegedly presented an anonymous letter to Bates containing severe allegations about Summit County Deputy Eric Mainord that investigators believe were aimed at discrediting Mainord’s testimony. Mainord is running against Rigby for sheriff in Wasatch County.
