Rudie leading in tight race for Smithfield mayor; Downs and Olsen leading for city council

Unofficial general election results for Smithfield City’s mayoral race show Aaron Rudie leading by a small margin against incumbent Kris Monson. As of Tuesday evening, Rudie received 51.09% of the votes, while Monson received 48.91%.
