Vacation hot spot may ban alcohol sales during key hours in sweeping new crackdown

The city of Split, Croatia, proposes an alcohol ban from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. to manage tourism and keep public order. Bars and clubs would be exempt from the nightlife restrictions.
