Wasatch County School District receives over $500,000 in grant funding to support career tech

The lion’s share of funding comes from a Catalyst Center grant administered by the Utah State Board of Education. The Catalyst Center Grant Program was established after the approval of H.B. 447 in May 2025 and awards funding “to support innovative programs that strengthen career pathways and expand opportunities for students across the state,” according to a Utah State Board of Education press release.
