Former IFFD Captain Johan Olson selected as new Fire Chief

“Chief Olson brings years of prior experience at the Idaho Falls Fire Department, combined with broad leadership experience and a clear commitment to public service,” said Mayor Lisa Burtenshaw. “He has demonstrated the ability to lead complex operations, support firefighter development and engage meaningfully with the community.
