U of U CAMPUS ALERT: Final update on bomb threat.

University of Utah Police continue to work with law enforcement partners to investigate a bomb threat reported just after 4 p.m. It has been verified a hoax, similar to threats received at other schools in neighboring states.

UUPD will conduct increased patrols across campus overnight, and detectives will continue to work the case to identify the suspects responsible.

Lockdowns at University Hospital and Primary Children's Hospital will be lifted.

At this time, there is no further information to share and there is no confirmed danger to the campus community.
